Blue Backlinks: Check Your Site’s Backlinks and PageRank

Blue Backlinks: Check Your Site’s Backlinks and PageRank

I just discovered a new tool that I have become quite fond of. The tool is Blue Backlinks, and in one step it allows you to see the backlinks to your site, its PageRank, its Alexa rank and whether it is listed on DMOZ. Simply browse to the Blue Backlinks website, enter the URL of your site and click the button. The tool finishes its search after about a minute, and you can check for updated results once a week.

My favorite part of this tool, however, is that it allows you to quickly see whether the backlinks to your site are “dofollow” or “nofollow.” A “dofollow” backlink from a website with a high PageRank can influence the PageRank of your website, which over time leads to higher search engine placement. On the other hand, while all backlinks are valuable, a “nofollow” link does not influence your website’s PageRank.
